Restaurants and bars are open, though operating day and hours.

At Lime Restaurant we offer a buffet breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we offer a la carte service.

The island is offering a variety of options during your stay. Swimming pools, Spa, Gym, Water Sports, Restaurants, Bars, etc. will be available. We invite you to respect normal social distancing and to respect the safety and securing measures in place.

IT is highly recommended to subscribe to travel insurance in general. Be informed that Allied Insurance company of the Maldives has launched a Covid-19 insurance policy focusing on tourists who visit the Maldives. This policy covers specific expenses. Yes, it is highly recommended to book your selected excursions at the earliest as the space maybe limited. Check with our team for any on-going promotions.

In majority of our island wearing a mask is not required. Only in designated closed areas it could be applicable.

Reservations are always preferable and recommended to offer the choice of selecting your table.

Transfers to Baros Maldives will be operating as per the guidelines given by the Maldives Health Protection Agency, with the enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place.

Boat transfers are available from the airport to the resort for when you arrive. For a smooth travel experience, we encourage you or your travel agent to forward us your flight details 72hours prior to arrival.

Private transfer rates are available on request.

Cash less payments have been more common these past years, but cash will be accepted.

First, we invite you to get in touch with our team to get tested. In the unfortunate event your result comes back positive for Covid-19, you will be required to transfer to a designated isolation accommodation in the resort and a special rate on Full Board basis will be extended. Cancellation charges will be waived off for the rest of the stay for the originally booked accommodation.

Do not worry if your transfer has been booked within 72hours prior to your arrival, we will wait until you complete all necessary formalities.

Whilst you are in our care, you will be closely monitored by our in-house Doctor. In case your symptoms worsen, we will consult the Maldives Health Protection Agency and based on the medical personnel’s advice, further actions will be taken. You may be required to transfer to a close by hospital or medical facility available.

For any guests that require PCR test on departure, the resort will arrange testing through a Government approved facility. This service should be requested at the time of reservation or on arrival.  The costs of the PCR test will be at your expense. Pricing is available at resort.

Baros Maldives has an in-house resident doctor and nurse. They are experienced professionals and certified to comply with the latest guidelines by the Maldives Health Protection Agency.

The entertainment schedule will be available with our team and updated on weekly basis.

We are back to normal operations until further notice.

All tourists will undergo non-intrusive temperature checks on arrival to the Maldives.

You may also be chosen for a random Covid-19 PCR test by the Health Protection Agency.  This is a voluntary test, and the Maldives Government will pay the cost for random testing.

For all guests who exhibit any symptoms of Covid-19 on arrival, a PCR test will be required for all those travelling together.

Testing will be conducted by the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives and you will need to stay in their care until results have been received.

Split stays are permitted between the tourist establishments that meet all compulsory requirements established by the Maldives Health Protection Agency.

You will need to stay in the care of the Health Protection Agency of Maldives until results have been received.

If your results are negative, you may continue to Baros Maldives as booked.

If your results are positive for Covid-19, you will need to stay in the care of the Health Protection Agency. Terms & conditions will be shared by the authorities in designated accommodation.
